Meet The Tutors
Here in the writing center, we have a huge group of Writing Fellows, who are all so excited to meet everyone and work with you to write the "right" way. Scroll through each person's bios, and see if you can recognize any of your peers.
Angelina
Angelina is a junior who enjoys relaxing walks, reading, and baking. She feels most productive during a cosy Starbucks study-date with her friends. She specializes in creative and analytical writing, with her background in AP Language and AP World. Angelina is available during most flex block periods. ​.
Cole
Cole is a senior at BHS who finds great interest in creative and argumentative writing. However, he also has a strong passion for history, taking both AP US history and AP World History, and thus is glad to assist in those areas as well. Outside of school, Cole spends his time playing sports—specifically basketball and soccer—and spending time at the beach with his family. Cole is available during period six and flex block.
Kessa
Kessa Langone is a senior at BHS who likes hanging out with her friends and helping others, especially with their writing assignments. Kessa is available during flex and period 7. She has a dog named Kody who she has written about and likes spending time with! She loves to help people write personal narratives so if you need help she would be happy to.
Olivia
Olivia DiRienzo is a senior and she enjoys creative writing and poetry. She is available during flex block and period 4. She is a part of the soccer, gymnastics and track team at BHS. She enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with her friends and her favorite artist is Olivia Rodrigo. Last year, she took AP Environmental Science and can assist with lab reports. This year she is taking AP Lit and is happy to help with any kind of English assignment.
Paige
Paige is a senior and her favorite subject is science. She chose to be a writing fellow to help people find their passion while writing. She enjoys writing for history, and science lab reports, specifically chemistry. A fun fact about Paige is her favorite place to be is the beach. She will be available during flex block and period 7!
Inaara
Inaara is an 11th grader, who is usually free periods 1, 2, 6, and during flex blocks. You can always email them with their LASID (300648) since they’re quite quick to respond. She’s taken a creative writing class and runs her own writing blog, so they’re always excited to work with anyone else over writing. Currently taking AP Lang, so they can be helpful with any literature classes. They really enjoy anything creative, including baking, art, and poetry. She volunteers in the school library, so you might run into them there as well.
Ayan
Ayan is a junior and started to like writing in his freshman year, and is currently taking AP lang. He also plays club basketball, and volleyball. Ayan loves hanging out with his friends and going out to eat with them. Ayan has an older brother who graduated from high school in 2021! Ayan travels a lot and is always on vacation every break there is.
Ayan likes to write about anything for English and also can help with any history writing. Ayan is available Day 6 period 1.
Braden
Braden is a current senior at Burlington High School. He is available all of Period 2, and can work with any kind of piece you throw at him. He is a member of the Esports team, robotics team, and plays the trombone in the Wind Ensemble. He loves all things that involve creativity, puzzles, riddles, and anything else that messes with the mind. After school, he walks his neighbor’s dog, so you might find him out walking. It is not his dog and he will not know what you are talking about when you ask for her name.

Leila
Leila is a senior who enjoys math and science. She enjoys running track during winter and spring seasons. Leila has taken AP World and AP Lang so she can help with history and english papers, but she enjoys writing science reports. She is available during flex blocks or period 6.
Logan
Logan is a Senior at BHS, and they are someone very interested in the humanities. Whether it involved English or History, Logan is involved. When he is not in school, Logan spends his time on the soccer field, hanging out with friends, or spending time with my family. He likes to write narratives as well as longer forms of stories, so if there are any issues with long form writing, be sure to visit him. Logan is available the most during periods 1 and 2, as well as flex blocks.
Sophia
Sophia is a junior who loves writing, music, and meeting new people. She plays guitar, is in DECA, and loves traveling. She is a fan of comedy movies and good conversations. She loves creative writing assignments. She’s available during Flex or Period 2 for anyone looking to improve their writing!
