The Playlist Pilgrimage to Algonquin

On May 2nd, 2019, the Writing Fellows and I visited Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough, Massachusetts. An approximate 50 minute drive from Burlington, Massachusetts, Algonquin Regional High School provides students with a top-quality Writing Center, fully-staffed and furnished. The purpose of our visit was to both re-establish our ties with Algonquin’s flagship Writing Center and to ask targeted questions that we had accrued during our first year of operation. The student tutors that we encountered appeared wholeheartedly invested into their program, and were more than happy to answer our questions. They have become an invaluable asset for us as we continue to develop our fledgling Writing Center and Writing Fellows program. Also, a fortuitous—and completely unrelated—byproduct of our field trip to Algonquin was the creation of the extremely rewarding Writing Fellows 2K19 Road Trip Playlist™.
